Kids Unlimited Mentoring Program, offered
by SGA Youth & Family Services, is looking for volunteers
to provide mentoring for one hour per week to 4th through 6th grade
students at Fiske and Wadsworth Elementary Schools in the Woodlawn
Community of Chicago. Mentors and mentees talk, work on homework,
hang out, and do fun activities together. By just being yourself
and donating only one hour of your time per week, you can have a

Are
you feeling called to service with people who are poor, sick, and
uneducated? Do you desire to deepen your spirituality and live in
community? Mercy Volunteer Corps (MVC), a program sponsored by the
Sisters of Mercy, invites lay women and men to compassionate service.
MVC places volunteers at sites in the U.S. for a one year or two
year commitment. There is a particular need for volunteers in Guyana
(the only English speaking country in South America) at an orphanage,
hospital, and vocational school for teenagers. All living expenses
are provided including housing, stipends, medical insurance, and
